What you'll do

• Initiate and document a written plan of care within the specified timeframe
• perform patient interventions and demonstrate age-specific competency
• verify orders, medication reconciliation, test and procedure scheduling, preoperative data, and consent forms
• follow medication and IV therapy policies
• monitor first-dose medications for adverse reactions
• interpret diagnostic data and notify physicians of critical lab values according to protocol.
