Survey Crew Chief

The Survey Crew Chief is a full-time, onsite position in Poolesville, MD, paying $25–$35 per hour. Potomac Valley Surveys provides boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveying, along with development consulting, to clients throughout Maryland. The crew chief leads field survey work and supports accurate, safe project delivery by managing survey equipment and data, checking work against specifications and regulations, and mentoring crew members.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a field survey crew
• oversee and perform boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, construction stakeout, and as-built surveys
• operate and maintain survey equipment
• collect, process, and verify field data
• perform quality checks
• lead daily safety meetings
