Youth Shelter Care Staff is an onsite role in Loveland, CO, paying $21–$22 per hour. The role supports The Landing and advances The Matthews House’s commitment to making homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. The position provides direct supervision and trauma-informed, relationship-based support to youth and young adults in the shelter. Through daily operations, safety and crisis response, life-skills support, and communication with the care team, staff help participants build stability and personal growth.

What you'll do

• Support shelter check-ins, room assignments, meals, laundry, hygiene access, and clean common spaces
• supervise participants and follow safety, de-escalation, and incident-response protocols
• build strengths-based relationships and support routines and life-skills activities
• encourage participation in case management, education, and housing services
• complete shelter logs and shift handoffs
• communicate observations and follow-ups to supervisors and case management teams.
