The role provides critical veterinary care through examinations, medical work-ups, case monitoring, and treatment, while communicating with clients and coordinating with veterinarians, technicians, support staff, and hospital leadership to uphold care standards.
What you'll do
- Conduct patient examinations and medical work-ups
- communicate with and educate clients
- maintain medical records
- prescribe medications and follow controlled-substance protocols
- promote teamwork and staff efficiency
- coordinate priorities with the Hospital Manager
- evaluate hospital protocols from intake through discharge
- monitor cases and attend rounds when possible
- participate in practice updates and training.

Why this role
