What you'll do

• Teach from a literature curriculum emphasizing inclusive texts and preparing students for AP, SAT, and collegiate coursework.
• Conduct deep exploration of daily content to guide students in analyzing literature.
• Develop students' independent and collaborative reading, writing, and discussion skills.
• Facilitate student-led discourse using evidence to make claims and synthesize arguments.
• Analyze student comprehension and writing regularly to adapt lessons.
• Partner with department and grade level teams on content and instructional strategies.
• Meet weekly with principal/coach to analyze student work.
• Learn and implement strategies to differentiate instruction.
• Build positive relationships with students and partner with families.
• Engage in professional development and coaching.
• Participate in school-wide meetings.

Bachelor's degree.
