The Floral Designer role is onsite in Winchester, MA, with pay of $23–$27 per hour. Mahoney’s Garden Center is a family-owned independent garden center serving the Greater Boston Area and Cape Cod with plants, yard products, and gardening accessories. The designer supports the Floral Manager by creating standard and custom arrangements, coordinating orders, and maintaining floral inventory and displays. The role also assists customers, supports floral staff, and helps ensure orders and department tasks are completed accurately and on time.

What you'll do

• Retrieve, communicate, and execute floral orders across channels, including online POS orders
• coordinate floral deliveries and product storage
• water, cut, and prune inventory
• ensure standard arrangements are prepared and priced to company standards
• help customers design arrangements and recommend substitutions
• direct and support floral assistants
• train new staff on floral maintenance, designs, POS software, and online requests
• complete housekeeping and restocking
• monitor inventory and recommend replenishment.
