The Cook role is onsite in Portland, OR, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pay is $31.30 per hour. Restaurant Associates provides dining and event catering for museums, performing arts centers, and corporations. The Cook prepares and serves food to established standards, supporting reliable, safe food service. The role includes following recipes and service schedules, maintaining food quality and temperatures, keeping kitchen and storage areas clean, operating equipment, and assisting with production records and supply ordering.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and schedules
• portion and serve meals while meeting presentation and temperature standards
• maintain kitchen, refrigerators, and storerooms
• follow safe food-handling and HACCP practices
• operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, records, ordering, and receiving
• report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents.
