What you'll do

• Supervise meal preparation, serving, and cleanup
• assign tasks and monitor food service workers and cooks
• verify portion control, meal quality, and menu and nutrition standards
• ensure sanitation and food safety compliance
• account for government-furnished equipment and report deficiencies
• conduct and document pre- and post-shift inspections
• oversee leftover handling, waste disposal, and equipment shutdown.
