Hospice Registered Nurse

Job overview

The Hospice Registered Nurse role is onsite, providing visits in home, community, or agency settings in Cleveland, OH. Pay is $35–$45 per hour. The Hospice of Greater Cleveland, a partnership between McGregor and Judson, provides patient-centered hospice care and emotional support to families during end of life. The nurse completes hospice and palliative care visits, assesses patient needs, and provides care and education under the established plan of care. The role supports comfort and quality of life while coordinating updates with the interdisciplinary team and patients’ families.

What you'll do

• Complete initial, comprehensive, and ongoing assessments
• provide care and treatments under the plan of care
• evaluate the effectiveness of care measures
• collaborate with patients and families on goals and care plans
• provide education and counseling about hospice, disease progression, hands-on care, and end-of-life expectations
• document visits in the EMR
• update the interdisciplinary team after each visit.

Why this role

Requires one year of nursing experience, an active RN license, current CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license; CHPN certification is preferred.
