Veterinary Assistant

What you'll do

• Care for patients and clients
• answer phones and route inquiries
• assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgery
• safely restrain animals using low-stress handling
• administer medications, prepare vaccines, collect samples, and perform basic lab tests as directed
• maintain treatment plans and medical records
• educate clients
• enter charges and assist with checkout
• keep hospital areas clean and stocked.
