What you'll do

• Assess patients and review medical histories
• diagnose and treat illness and injury
• order and interpret diagnostic tests
• explain results and treatment
• provide emergency stabilization when needed
• document care
• perform therapeutic procedures
• counsel patients on wellness and health maintenance
• prescribe medication
• develop and monitor patient management plans
• provide scheduled on-call coverage
• collaborate with providers, clinical staff, and community resources
• maintain required licensure, DEA, board certification, and CME.
