What you'll do

• Review departmental timecards and monitor submissions
• import timecards into the payroll module
• verify employee hours and identify overlaps or excess or short hours
• coordinate corrections with timekeepers
• process garnishments, workers’ compensation payments, and terminated-employee payouts
• process payroll using Oracle
• upload direct-deposit files
• process third-party deductions
• prepare quarterly 941 reconciliations and filings and annual W-2s
• provide payroll data for grants and filings
• track military time
• reconcile and submit TCRS retirement payments
• supervise Payroll Technicians
• recommend process improvements
• maintain internal controls and audit-ready documentation
• advise on payroll policies and system functionality.
