The lead coordinates a maintenance crew while performing hands-on aircraft maintenance, helping ensure work is safe, efficient, compliant with FAA requirements, and completed to schedule and customer expectations.

What you'll do

• Lead and perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
• assign crew tasks and priorities
• provide technical guidance and mentorship
• ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer data, and company procedures
• verify documentation
• review discrepancies and estimate labor and parts
• monitor work orders, progress, and scheduling
• coordinate with Quality Assurance, Planning, Engineering, and Parts
• lead quality investigations, safety meetings, and continuous improvement
• develop crew members and contribute to performance evaluations.
