Commercial Roofing Estimator

Job overview

The Commercial Roofing Estimator role is onsite in Gilbert, AZ, with compensation of $75,000–$110,000 per year. The estimator supports Nations Roof’s commercial roofing project development and company revenue and margin goals. The role develops accurate, competitive estimates for large commercial roofing projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and bid documents. It also coordinates pricing with vendors and subcontractors, identifies project risks and opportunities, and supports a smooth handoff from estimating to execution.

What you'll do

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• prepare detailed labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates
• coordinate pricing and system details with vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors
• support scope alignment and contract negotiations
• identify risks, gaps, assumptions, and exclusions
• contribute value-engineering ideas
• partner with sales, operations, and project management
• visit job sites as needed
• maintain bid records
• share estimating knowledge.

Why this role
