Project Engineer

The Project Engineer role is an onsite, full-time position in Houston, TX; compensation is not specified. Caturus supports Kimmeridge’s goal of providing low-cost energy on demand with a low carbon footprint and is developing an integrated natural gas and LNG export platform focused on responsibly sourced, low-emission fuel. The engineer manages minor capital projects within the Commonwealth LNG Engineering team, coordinating scope, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance. The role helps deliver projects safely and efficiently by working across engineering disciplines, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Develop or review project scopes, execution plans, and stakeholder responsibilities
• develop or review cost estimates, schedules, manpower plans, and forecasts
• monitor and report project progress
• review quality assurance plans
• manage scope changes and related cost and schedule impacts
• ensure quality of project documentation, materials, and field execution when applicable
• collaborate on engineering solutions and execution methods
• lead development of ITB packages
• communicate formally with contractors
• manage multidisciplinary Management of Change processes
• prepare project justifications and guide proposals through internal approval.
