It also supports resident well-being through safe food handling, meal service, and maintaining clean, stocked food-service areas.

What you'll do

• Review menus and prepare meals
• implement recommended food-service changes
• follow established food procedures
• complete required forms and reports
• assist with the production line
• process diet changes and new diets
• prepare and serve meals according to menus, standardized recipes, portion controls, therapeutic diets, and special orders
• prepare bedtime snacks and substitute foods
• assist with meal service and cleaning
• maintain food and supply stock
• follow safety, hygiene, infection-control, and confidentiality policies
• assist with inventory and storage
• participate in emergency drills and fulfill assigned emergency-plan responsibilities.
