The Robot Operator – AI Robotics role is full-time and onsite in the Austin/Taylor, TX area, paying $32 per hour plus benefits. The position is a 12-month contract with a high possibility of extension, supporting a fast-growing AI robotics company at a customer production facility. The operator runs physical and simulated robotic prototypes, performs recurring customer tasks, and documents outcomes and technical observations. The role provides structured feedback to remote engineering and development teams to help improve robotic performance and resolve issues.

What you'll do

• Safely operate physical and simulated robotic prototypes, including with virtual reality headsets and controllers
• execute recurring tasks consistently
• collect data and evaluate autonomous behavior
• document outcomes and technical observations
• provide written feedback to remote engineering teams
• follow customer-site safety and access requirements
• perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• set up and maintain equipment and work areas.
