Float Nurse (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse)

The Float Nurse role is onsite at correctional facilities throughout Southern Indiana; candidates must live in Indiana or a neighboring state. Pay is $35–$45 per hour. Quality Correctional Care provides medical, mental healthcare, and addiction recovery services to justice-involved patients. The nurse delivers comprehensive care across assigned facilities, including assessments, medication administration, chronic care, patient education, and emergency response. What you'll do

• Assess, plan, and deliver patient care
• administer medications
• conduct medical intakes and 14-day physicals
• respond to sick calls and emergencies
• manage chronic care
• change dressings as directed
• educate patients
• maintain pharmacology knowledge
• provide guidance to medically trained personnel
• comply with applicable laws and regulations.
