Job overview

The Cook role is onsite in Holland, MI, with afternoon and evening shifts; the restaurant is open from 4 PM to 10 PM on weekdays and until midnight on weekends. Starting pay is $17 per hour, negotiable based on experience. The cook prepares food for Sharkee’s Bar & Grill and helps ensure guests are satisfied.

What you'll do

• Prepare menu items according to recipes, portions, and presentation standards
• restock kitchen supplies and put away deliveries using FIFO
• notify the Restaurant Lead about shortages or waste
• keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitary, including deep cleaning
• assist with kitchen safety and security
• set up, maintain, and break down the prep station
• requisition ingredients
• follow health and safety regulations and maintain required logs.
