What you'll do

• Provide emergency medical care and first aid within the authorized scope of practice
• assess patients and help determine treatment priorities
• safely operate an ambulance and prepare, move, and transport patients
• coordinate with first responders and healthcare professionals
• operate approved life-support, monitoring, and diagnostic equipment
• complete electronic patient care reports
• clean and sanitize the ambulance and equipment
• check vehicles and equipment
• follow medical protocols and safety requirements
• and participate in ongoing training.
