The Plant Controller role is onsite in Benson, North Carolina. Compensation is not specified. The position provides site-level financial leadership for Vulcan Elements’ commercial manufacturing facility, supporting production of rare-earth permanent magnets. The role establishes and manages plant financial processes, controls, reporting, and cost accounting as operations scale. It partners with plant, operations, engineering, and corporate finance leaders to support accurate financial results and disciplined growth.

What you'll do

• Own daily and monthly plant financial results and KPIs
• lead site finance support for ERP and MES initiatives and data integrity with the general ledger
• oversee inventory costing and management with FP&A
• translate shop-floor data into costing and yield reporting
• manage fixed-asset accounting
• own month-end close
• design and operate internal controls and support SOX readiness and audits
• build a site finance and cost accounting team.
