What you'll do

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• respond to life-threatening conditions
• provide trauma, medical, and surgical care
• administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments
• assist with procedures
• monitor patient changes
• collaborate with the emergency care team
• document assessments and interventions
• educate patients and families when appropriate
• follow trauma, emergency, infection-control, and safety protocols
• float between the two designated emergency departments.
