The Regional Parks Maintenance Worker – Northern District role is onsite in Charlottesville, VA; compensation is $22.50–$24.87 per hour. What you'll do

• Coordinate and perform daily maintenance of park buildings, grounds, athletic fields, facilities, and equipment
• operate and maintain vehicles and equipment, including snow-removal equipment
• supervise subordinate personnel when the Regional Park Supervisor is absent
• instruct employees on safe equipment and material use
• support budget and procurement needs
• perform mowing, litter removal, turf management, fixture repairs, minor construction, carpentry, and plumbing
• prepare facilities for reservations and events
• perform facility repairs
• support weekly schedules and winter projects
• report for after-hours emergencies as essential personnel.
