Senior Program Manager — Project Governance

Job overview

The Senior Program Manager — Project Governance role is hybrid and mostly remote, with Oakland, CA onsite presence as needed with advance notice. The stated pay range is $90–$100 per hour. The four-month contract supports Enterprise Project Governance and its Project Quality Review Program for major projects and programs. The manager develops a repeatable quality-assessment process, reviews project documentation, and improves review criteria and governance readiness. The work helps project teams address gaps before formal governance reviews and gives leadership portfolio-level findings and improvement insights.

What you'll do

• Develop and document a standardized project quality review process, methodologies, procedures, scoring criteria, and reporting standards
• independently assess project and program deliverables
• validate and improve review checklists and scoring models
• conduct readiness reviews before GRB submissions
• identify documentation and controls gaps
• prepare assessment summaries and portfolio insights for leadership.

Why this role
