The Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic role is onsite in Greenville, SC; compensation is $27–$32 per hour. Strategic Support Solutions is hiring technicians to support government maintenance operations. The mechanic performs precision fabrication, corrosion mitigation, structural evaluation, and component assembly on aircraft structures, helping maintain airframe integrity and meet engineering, FAA, and government oversight requirements.

What you'll do

• Modify and repair thin-skin aircraft panels and structural components
• identify, strip, and treat corrosion
• evaluate damage using manufacturer manuals and engineering data
• remove and install panels and airframe components
• follow drawings and procedures
• and maintain work records, log entries, work orders, and parts requests.
