What you'll do

• Employ and supervise staff, including verifying references
• assist teachers with weekly activities and maintaining a safe environment
• communicate with parents and address concerns
• ensure compliance with North Carolina daycare rules, labor laws, and building regulations
• maintain children’s and staff records
• conduct monthly fire evaluations and oversee playground safety inspections and paperwork
• manage curriculum compliance and materials procurement
• support staff training and professional development
• and handle budgets, accounts, marketing, and parent communication.
