Electrochemistry Technologist

The Electrochemistry Technologist role is onsite in Woburn, MA; compensation is not specified. Verdox develops technology intended to capture carbon dioxide and other acid gases with its electro-swing process. Working on the research and development team and reporting to the Electrochemist, the technologist fabricates and tests electrochemical cells and analyzes electrode materials to support development and optimization of the company’s technology.

What you'll do

• Synthesize electrode materials
• fabricate electrodes and assemble electrochemical cells
• analyze materials using electrochemical techniques
• optimize cell design, electrolytes, charge rate, and capacity
• test and characterize cells
• study electrode and electrolyte degradation pathways.
