What you'll do

• Verify eligibility and benefits
• resolve registration, eligibility, and authorization issues
• coordinate with health plans on primary care provider selection or transfers
• obtain prior authorizations
• collect billing and authorization information
• post charges at checkout
• review and correct daily error reports
• update patient accounts
• help identify financial assistance programs
• coordinate patient financial needs
• clarify documentation with providers or clinical staff
• maintain HIPAA compliance and participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
