Part-Time Caregiver — Indianapolis Area

The Part-Time Caregiver role is onsite in Fishers, IN, serving clients in their homes. Compensation is $14–$16 per hour, paid weekly. Altra Homecare provides personalized, patient-centered care in clients' homes to support well-being, dignity, safety, and independence. The caregiver provides personal care and companionship tailored to each patient's needs. Assistance with daily activities, safety monitoring, and documentation helps clients remain supported in the comfort of their homes; paid training is available for those not yet certified.

What you'll do

• Assist with laundry
• provide medication reminders
• support patient safety
• report significant condition changes to a supervisor
• prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required
• monitor and record temperature
• assist with ambulation and simple exercises
• document care and follow protocols
• follow privacy and infection-control guidelines
• assist with bathing and light housekeeping
• provide companionship, including reading and letter-writing.
