What you'll do

• Monitor passengers and maintain bus safety
• assist students entering and exiting
• perform safety checks
• remain alert to passenger welfare along routes
• check for sleeping children
• assist the driver with safe backing when necessary
• conduct emergency evacuations
• communicate behavior issues and bus-stop conditions to the driver
• liaise with parents as needed
• help clean assigned buses
• occasionally attend field trips and special events to support passenger safety.
