What you'll do

• Negotiate power supply, energy service, retail supply, fuel supply, interconnection, transmission, distribution, and utility infrastructure agreements
• support on-site and behind-the-meter generation procurement
• represent the company in utility tariff proceedings and special contract negotiations
• analyze tariffs and regulatory compliance
• negotiate energy trading and hedging documentation
• advise on demand response, customer power provisions, and renewable energy procurement
• support project financing and acquisitions of power-related assets
• manage operating-asset legal risks and disputes
• direct outside counsel
• mentor and develop legal and paralegal support.
