Process Technician (Swing Shift)

The Process Technician (Swing Shift) role is onsite in Fremont, CA, and pays $32–$38 per hour. Velo3D provides metal additive manufacturing hardware, software, and production capabilities for titanium, Inconel, and aluminum parts. The technician operates and monitors additive manufacturing equipment to execute production builds safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. The role supports printer uptime, equipment readiness, production handoffs, and coordination with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams.

• Operate and monitor RPS additive manufacturing systems

• replenish consumables
• respond to alarms and troubleshoot routine issues

• document production and equipment status
• prepare shift handoffs
• support continuous improvement.

Why this role

The listed schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts, 5:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m., on one of two rotations; new hires complete four to five weeks of daytime training and shadowing. U.S. citizenship or green card status is required.
