• prepare patients, equipment, supplies, and the surgical environment
• assist with procedures within RN scope
• monitor patients and communicate clinical changes
• document care
• follow infection-control and patient-safety requirements
• participate in scheduled surgical coverage and rotational on-call and callback coverage.
