The Senior Federal Tax Accountant role is onsite in Englewood, CO; compensation is $83,160–$136,625 per year. The accountant supports accurate federal tax compliance and financial reporting by preparing tax workpapers and returns, calculating estimated payments and tax provisions, and assisting with audits and tax projects. The role also works across tax, accounting, legal, and external advisory teams to improve data workflows and maintain a compliant tax posture.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review federal corporate income tax workpapers and returns
• calculate quarterly estimated tax payments
• support tax audits, controversy matters, and information document requests
• perform quarterly and year-end ASC 740 tax provision calculations
• collaborate with external tax consultants on projects such as R&D credits and tax planning
• apply AI tools to streamline tax data extraction.
