The Cat Foster Coordinator works onsite in Atlanta, GA, supporting LifeLine Animal Project’s Placement Department. Pay is $17 per hour. LifeLine Animal Project is committed to the care and welfare of pets and the people who love them. This role coordinates the shelter’s cat foster program, supports kitten care and Foster to Adopt placements, and helps foster caregivers provide appropriate care. It contributes to animal welfare and adoption efforts through foster counseling, medical-care coordination, and collaboration with shelter teams.

What you'll do

• Coordinate the cat foster program and maintain foster records
• monitor kittens in the nursery
• administer dewormer and vaccinations according to medical protocol
• coordinate veterinary appointments and follow-up care
• support Foster to Adopt kitten placements and adoptions
• train and counsel fosters, volunteers, and employees
• coordinate with shelter and veterinary staff on behavior and medical needs
• provide onsite foster customer service and prepare reports.
