Universal Banker II – Hale Street Branch

Job overview

The Universal Banker II role is onsite at the Hale Street branch in Lowell, MA. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with fluctuating Saturdays from 8:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m.; the position is 40 hours per week. Pay is $22–$26 per hour. Align Credit Union serves members through financial products and services. The banker builds and maintains member relationships by understanding financial needs, completing account and loan requests, and recommending appropriate products or specialist referrals. The role also supports branch operations, compliance, issue resolution, and coaching of less experienced team members.

What you'll do

• Provide exceptional member service
• conduct needs-based conversations and meet assigned service and sales goals
• identify member financial needs and recommend solutions or refer to specialists
• open accounts and process personal, auto, equity, and mortgage loan requests and routine transactions
• participate in audits, cash settlements, ATM and cash-recycler tasks, and branch opening and closing
• resolve member issues
• follow security and compliance policies
• maintain knowledge of deposit-account legal matters
• become and remain a Notary Public
• assist with coaching and training branch staff.
