Field Service Technician II

Job overview

The Field Service Technician II role is onsite in Columbia, SC, with daily route-based travel to Lowe’s locations in Sumter, Camden, Richland County, and areas of Columbia; pay is $19–$21 per hour. Compucom provides IT managed services and this role supports Lowe’s as a national retail client. The technician exists to keep client IT equipment and networks operational through onsite troubleshooting, installation, and break/fix support. The role contributes to client service by resolving issues at multiple locations, documenting work, and coordinating with remote teams when issues need escalation.

What you'll do

• Provide onsite support for POS systems, desktops, printers, thin clients, access points, and network devices
• troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• perform installations, upgrades, and break/fix support
• support copper and fiber cabling and basic terminations
• document work and resolutions in ticketing systems
• travel daily to listed Lowe’s locations
• work with remote teams on escalated issues.
