The Staff Machine Learning Data Engineer role is based onsite in a hybrid model at Procore's San Francisco office, with at least three days per week onsite. Compensation is $227,332–$312,581.50 annually; the role may also be eligible for equity and/or bonus incentive compensation. What you'll do

• Lead data engineering efforts for frontier model research and applied ML systems
• build and maintain batch and streaming pipelines for multimodal data
• translate experimental workflows into repeatable data systems
• develop dataset curation, versioning, and lineage workflows
• establish data quality, validation, observability, and cost-efficiency standards
• contribute to data architecture
• evaluate workflow improvements
• mentor engineers through reviews and collaboration.
