• coordinate with nursing, consultants, and ancillary services
• communicate with patients, families, and care teams
• document care
• hand off to daytime hospitalist teams
• participate in quality, safety, and utilization initiatives
• supervise or collaborate with advanced practice providers or residents as applicable.
