Instructional Designer

The Instructional Designer role is onsite in Virginia Beach, VA, supporting the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) under a future anticipated award. Compensation is not specified. BEI Tactical provides services and products to government and commercial customers. The role develops and evaluates training curricula and related materials to support CENSECFOR training needs. It translates task analysis and learning requirements into course documentation, instructional products, and assessment materials, while supporting compliance with Navy training standards.

What you'll do

• Develop training project plans, course task lists, course control documents, lesson plans, student guides, and testing materials
• design instructional components and performance measures
• develop and validate learning objectives
• assist with job duty task analysis, front-end analysis, and business case analysis
• create traceability documentation, course outlines, instructional strategies, media packages, and storyboards
• develop and review instructional media and e-learning products
• evaluate training through focus groups and course pilots
• provide AI-assisted editing, drafting, and data-analysis support
• for the multimedia-expertise position, administer SharePoint sites, support users and workflows, and assist with security and compliance.

Why this role

The position is contingent on a future anticipated award. Requires an associate degree with at least one year of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least five years of relevant experience; AI-assisted instructional design experience; and ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance. Multimedia expertise includes SharePoint, Power Automate, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software.
