Automotive Service Technician — Jordan Ford

What you'll do

• Perform repair-order work efficiently and accurately
• diagnose malfunctions and make repairs
• obtain needed parts and save or tag parts when required
• inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs
• notify service advisors about unnecessary work or delays
• document work performed
• road-test vehicles when required
• attend factory-sponsored training and keep current with technical bulletins
• maintain a clean shop and follow safety and hazardous-waste rules.
