Grounds Maintenance Worker — Sacramento and Ione Properties

The Grounds Maintenance Worker role is onsite at Buena Vista Rancheria properties in Sacramento and Ione, CA; pay is $25–$30 per hour. The position maintains Tribal properties and works under the general direction of the Chief Operations Officer, in close coordination with the Reservation Manager.

What you'll do

• Maintain lawns and gardens through mowing, edging, fertilizing, and watering
• prune trees and shrubs, plant vegetation, and remove unwanted plants
• maintain sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and landscape features
• operate mowers, tractors, chainsaws, blowers, and irrigation systems. Seasonal work may include snow removal, irrigation winterization, and spring setup. Minor repairs, Tribal event preparation, waste disposal, cultural resource monitoring as needed, and timely reporting of critical or emergency information are also included.
