Physician – Family Practice

The Physician – Family Practice role is onsite at Eglin Air Force Base, FL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at least nine working hours per day, and a one-hour unpaid lunch. Compensation is $255,840–$265,012.80 per year. Professional Performance Development Group provides healthcare staffing solutions for military, federal, and commercial facilities. The physician provides comprehensive care to patients from newborns through older adults, including urgent, emergent, and routine needs. The role examines, diagnoses, and treats patients, provides preventive care, coordinates referrals, and supports continuity and quality of care for an assigned patient panel.

What you'll do

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients within approved scope and privileges
• prescribe treatment
• provide preventive and health-maintenance services, examinations, education, and counseling
• order diagnostic testing and coordinate consultations or referrals
• consult specialty physicians
• assist other healthcare professionals
• participate in meetings, case discussions, continuing education, and quality improvement
• maintain an approximately 1,250-patient panel
• meet stated appointment, peer-review, health-assessment, medical-evaluation-board, and deployment-clearance expectations.

Why this role
