The Assistant Coach, Junior High Softball role is onsite in Colbert, WA. Compensation is a $750 stipend. The coach supports Northwest Christian Schools’ athletic program and its mission and standards. The assistant coach supports the head coach with player development, team operations, and program goals. The role helps provide instruction and mentorship, promote athlete safety, communicate with players and families, and assist with equipment and inventory.

What you'll do

• Maintain professional conduct at practices and games
• maintain required WIAA certifications, continuing education, and current CPR/First Aid
• support instruction and mentoring
• supervise athletes in locker rooms and on buses
• promote athlete safety and respond appropriately to injuries
• communicate with coaches, players, and parents
• help track and store equipment.
