What you'll do

• Assist with exam efficiency and patient experience
• communicate with retail office management and staff
• prepare the clinic day
• perform refraction, case-history review, non-contact tonometry, autorefractor testing, visual acuity testing, blood pressure measurement, lensometry, visual field testing, fundus photography, OCT testing, and eye-drop instillation
• perform additional clinical procedures requested by the supervising optometrist within the technician’s scope
• hand off patient care to the optometrist.
