What you'll do

• Prepare and portion food for regular and therapeutic diets, meals, snacks, employees, and events
• follow food-handling and safety procedures
• use standardized recipes and portion-control utensils
• serve meals according to menus, diet orders, and preferences
• monitor and record food and refrigerator/freezer temperatures
• label, date, and store food
• wash dishes and kitchen items
• clean work areas
• assist with receiving and storing supplies
• report stock or equipment issues
• maintain kitchen security and safety.
