The Chef/Cook — Early Childhood Education Center works onsite in Richmond, TX. Pay is $12–$13 per hour. What you'll do

• Prepare nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks according to approved menus and nutrition guidelines
• provide timely meal service
• monitor attendance and food quantities
• manage inventory, supplies, and ordering
• monitor food quality, expiration dates, and storage
• maintain meal and snack records, including CACFP records when applicable
• follow allergy and dietary accommodation procedures
• coordinate meal transitions with teachers
• follow food handling and sanitation requirements
• clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces
• manage purchasing within budget
• support center events and special meal needs when appropriate.
