Revenue Accountant

The Revenue Accountant role is hybrid in Morrisville, NC. The target salary range is $100,300–$118,000 per year. This position is part of NetApp’s Technical Revenue Accounting Team. The role exists to support accurate revenue recognition and compliant financial reporting by analyzing contracts and transactions, completing monthly close work, maintaining reconciliations and documentation, and supporting audits and revenue-related analysis.

What you'll do

• Apply ASC 606 to complex revenue contracts and transactions
• prepare revenue schedules, reconciliations, roll forwards, journal entries, and close deliverables
• research technical accounting issues and document conclusions
• support revenue recognition policies and SOX controls
• review contracts and recommend solutions
• perform forecasting and variance analysis
• assist with external audits and auditor inquiries
• support Enterprise License Agreement revenue analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, and disclosures.
