Retail Assistant Manager

The Retail Assistant Manager role is onsite in Lincoln, NE, with compensation of $18–$20 per hour. The Fort’s retail leadership team supports daily store operations and customer service. This manager helps the store run smoothly by leading sales-floor employees, overseeing assigned departments, supporting customers and sales, and maintaining merchandise, inventory, and store organization.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, train, and motivate sales-floor employees
• oversee assigned departments and daily operations
• assist customers, resolve difficult situations, and support sales transactions
• monitor inventory and merchandise handling, stocking, and displays
• maintain organized sales floors, stockrooms, and storage areas
• oversee cleaning and maintenance assignments
• support loss prevention
• open and close the store as a keyholder
• complete assigned projects on time.
