The Foreman – Earthwork and Utilities role is onsite in East Bethel, MN, with services provided across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Compensation is $47.24–$57.24 per hour. Designing Earth Contracting is a family-owned sitework and utilities contractor focused on quality, efficient work and safety. The foreman manages daily site activities for earthwork and sewer and water utility projects, coordinating crews and subcontractors to meet design, budget, schedule, and safety requirements. The role helps deliver grading and utility work efficiently while supporting communication, training, and field decision-making.

What you'll do

• Perform site grading for commercial, industrial, and development projects
• manage and supervise commercial grading jobsites
• communicate scheduling, needs, and issues to the Project Manager
• coordinate subcontractors and construction phases
• make field judgments as needed
• establish a safe work environment compliant with OSHA standards and company rules
• assist with employee training
• maintain working relationships with employees, clients, and subcontractors
• coordinate inspections and review results as needed
• and attend weekly foreman meetings. Requires Local 49 membership, at least five years of grading experience, and at least one year supervising grading crews.
